It is the lowest town in the region. Several rivers water this town: river Valdeprado (tributary of the river Alhama) and the streams Cabrera, Beiro and Calderán. At the feet of the Mountain range La Cabeza. Thanks to its milder weather, some fruits and vegetables are grown in this area.
