This town can be found at the bottom of the Mountain range Sierra de Alba. It has magnificent pastures and is surrounded by gullies. Of Roman origin, it is said that there was a epigraphic workshop of funerary stelae. It belonged to the Duro family from the 17th to the 19th century.
Interesting places:
Houses with shields on their walls and wrought-iron balconies that used to belong to Mesta farmers.
St Martin’s Church -
Gothic, 16th century. Its roof will be repaired soon.
Virgin of Valdeayuso’s Chapel - It’s on top of a hill. There are two tombstones with Roman inscriptions inside the chapel.
