Festivals and other information
Some time ago they used to celebrate, by the 29th June, San Pedro, when the fields were rented and with the payment -three sheep and a lamb- a stew was cooked for the whole of the neighbours. “La cerrá de la dehesa” (the close of the pasture) was made once a year, they used to have a snack, drink some wine (thanks to the town council) and dance. The 3rd of May they used to toss the foreigners in a blanket. On San Esteban (26th December) some bonfires were lighted. And some albadas were sung. They also used to pay the rent and the advance to the neighbour and service boy.
